Congregation of Sisters of Saint Agnes
The Sisters of Saint Agnes Collection contains the records of the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes since its founding in 1858, and the sisters’ missions and ministries in the United States, Nicaragua, Honduras, Ecuador and Russia (Siberia).
Rooted in Christ
Inspired by their founders—by the missionary zeal of Father Caspar Rehrl, the courageous initiatives of Mother Agnes Hazotte, and the spiritual influence of Father Francis Haas—they continue to respond in their own times to those whose faith life or human dignity is threatened.
Rooted in Christ through prayer and worship, they serve in both rural and urban settings throughout the United States and in Latin America.
